Ms. Winnie Tay has established herself as a highly respected figure in the field of music education through her diverse professional engagements. She currently runs an active private practice at Song without Words Music Studio and serves as Co-Director of The Musique Loft.

Her students have consistently achieved exceptional results at competitions and festivals worldwide, earning top prizes at local, national, and international levels. Many have gone on to pursue formal music studies at prestigious institutions. Notably, her students have emerged as Grand Prize Winners of the Steinway Youth Piano Competition in Singapore on three occasions, subsequently representing Singapore at the Regional Finals and securing positions among the top three finalists. Under her mentorship, Ms. Winnie has also mentored Singapore’s youngest ever recipient of the Young Steinway Artist title.

Ms. Winnie is frequently invited to serve as an adjudicator and to present masterclasses. She conducts regular masterclasses for students from Indonesia, Malaysia, and China, and has been invited to lead workshops and masterclasses throughout the region. In recent years, she has served on the jury for numerous competitions, including the Steinway Youth Piano
Competition, ZhongSin International Music Competition, Singapore International Young Pianist Competition, and La Pianista Indonesia Piano Competition, among others. Ms. Winnie is also a Steinway Educational Partner Teacher.
