Nikolaos Smyrnakis is an alumnus of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he earned a Bachelor of Music (Honours) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance. As an accomplished pianist, Nikolaos has performed extensively as a soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician in Europe and Singapore, collaborating with diverse ensembles and choirs.

Nikolaos is deeply committed to music education, applying a holistic approach that integrates technical mastery with interpretative insight. His teaching spans a wide repertoire, from Baroque to contemporary music, emphasising independent practice and encouraging students to pursue ambitious goals.

An ABRSM examiner, Nikolaos has guided students of all levels through successful examinations, university admissions, and international competitions. His dedication to both performance and pedagogy reflects his ongoing passion for musical growth and collaboration.
