Founder & Artistic director of the Flute Festival Singapore, Tiong Eng studied in Paris with Philippe Pierlot under a 3-year French government full scholarship and graduated with 1st prize and Prix d’Excellence. He obtained the LRAM and Master’s degree from the Royal Academy of Music in London where he studied with the world-renowned maestro William Bennett OBE. Performed full time with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra for 15 years and released 2 solo CD recordings, he has been the Vice-Chairperson of the Asia Flute Congress since 2023.
