Barennie Moon

Barennie Moon, originally from Seoul, embarked on her musical journey at a young age, venturing to New York at 13 to study violin at the renowned Juilliard School under the tutelage of Prof. Dorothy Delay. Her quest for musical excellence led her to Europe at the age of 15, where she continued her studies at esteemed universities in Cologne, Rotterdam, and Berlin, honing her craft under the guidance of esteemed professors including Igor Ozim, Zachar Bron, Herman Krebbers, and Rainer Kussmaul.

 

Throughout her illustrious career, Barennie has garnered numerous first prizes and has graced prestigious stages around the world as a soloist, including performances with esteemed orchestras such as the Paris Bastille Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Sofia Radio Symphony Orchestra, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, and Berlin Chamber Orchestra, among others.

 

Barennie's dedication to her craft has earned her roles as principal of the 2nd violins at the WDR Symphony Orchestra and first concertmaster positions with esteemed orchestras like the German Radio Philharmonic and the Hamburger Symphoniker. She is also highly sought after as a masterclass instructor, sharing her expertise in Germany, Japan, and Spain.
